ICECATCH Solid Insulated Chilled
The ICECATCH Solid Insulated CHILLED is the ideal complement for temperature-sensitive transport in “special” conditions. By pre-conditioning adequate to the target temperature of the goods to be shipped, the ICECATCH Solid Insulated CHILLED stabilizes the temperature in the desired temperature range. The ICECATCH Solid Insulated Chilled is stored together with the products at the target temperature and simply added to the PROTECT boxes in combination with other ICECATCH cooling elements during loading. The different color scheme simplifies the packing process. Like the Icecatch Solid Insulated, the dimensionally stable, water-based cooling element can be used for many cooling cycles without any loss of quality, does not contain any toxic substances and can be easily disposed of in household waste. The use of rigid foam ensures maximum dimensional stability, both in the frozen and thawed state. All materials used meet the highest standards of robustness and non-toxicity and are approved for use in the pharmaceutical, laboratory and food sectors.
A standard sets the benchmark
The film composite that encloses the inside of our cooling elements consists of at least 50 percent “green polyethylene”. Unlike conventional plastic, which is made from petroleum or natural gas, the “green” plastic is made from the waste of sugar cane, by using waste from sugar cane, a new and sustainable alternative to standard polyethylene is offered.
